Thornbury House By BENT Architecture

Bowed Architecture have outlined a minimal effort, reduced family home in the calm private neighborhood of Thornbury in Melbourne, Australia. 






The outline of the house references and reinterprets the rooftop structures and lightweight cladding of connecting properties. The pitched rooftop frame is unmistakable as a misshaped rendition of neighboring rooftops, while hardwood secures that disguise joints in the cladding add surface to the veneer.

Inside the home, the house is isolated into two regions, calm spaces and dynamic spaces. The peaceful spaces, similar to the home office, has been physically isolated from the parlor by means of a yard.

The home office watches out onto a patio, which was an unquestionable requirement have plan component for the mortgage holders.
